Your Requirement
You want to provide a protected website and you want university employees or students to be able to log in. Or you want to take a benefit from the GWDG user database for your own UNIX/Linux servers or computers.
Our Offer
We run a redundant OpenLDAP-based reliable directory service on multiple independent servers at different locations that provide user account data of all students and university staff (in the latter case a GWDG user account must exist). Subject to prior agreement with the central university administration, you may get read access to the service which can be used for your purposes.
Preconditions For Use
You need administrative access for computers and systems which shall be connected to the directory service.
