GWDG's e Science group is conducting own research and is collaborating with other researchers nationally and internationally.
The eScience group's projects benefit from almost 50 years of GWDG’s experience as an IT provider for scientific institutions and as an independent research institution, that focusses on Practical and Aplied Computer Science. In generally, the eScience group develops methods and tools for computationally or data intensive science in diverse research fields as well as digital infrastructures for collaborative research. In joint interdisciplinary research projects, the eScience group is the technical counterpart.
